Villa Kalithea
Location: Klismata Village (near Spartia)
Size: 160m2
Two kilometres from the sleepy village and sandy beach of Spartia, Villa Kalithea sits above the south coast on the outskirts of Klismata village. 360 degree views take in the surrounding hillsides of olive groves and vineyards, and across the sea to the island of Zakynthos. Sunsets are dramatic.
With a peaceful, rural setting, Kalithea’s nearest neighbours, two houses and a taverna with a swimming pool, are one hundred metres away behind the villa. The villa’s terraces, bordered by an olive grove and planted areas beside a grass lawn, are private and have uninterrupted views over the sea.
Recently completed, Villa Kalithea has high standards of modern comforts. Spacious interiors, decorated in soft pastel colours, have a pleasant feel of light and airiness.
Ground floor comprises open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen, leading to covered dining terrace; one twin-bedded room leading to small sea-facing terrace; one children’s bedroom and one single bed, bathroom and utlity room.
First floor offers two double bedrooms each with en suite bathroom with shower and each leading to sea-facing balcony.
“When we first dreamed of owning a home in Kefalonia
we had a very clear picture of what we wanted but didn't
really appreciate how to go about it. I have to say
that's all of the great people at Vinieris Real Estate
and Developments excelled.
We couldn't quite believe it when Adonis and George
came up with the most beautifully situated piece of
land - more than exceeding the brief - and they were
just as passionate and determined as we were to complete
the sale - despite some awkward legal technicalities
which, without their guidance I think we would have
given up on.
George and Adonis introduced us to one of their architects
who took our very specific design ideas for our home,
improved and interpreted them to make sure they were
consistent with local planning requirements. All of
the team at Vinieris were as enthusiastic as we were
about the prospect of building a traditional looking
house which as a result of their attention to detail
has now been completed to the highest of standards.
We will always appreciate Vinieris expertise and professionalism
particularly as we have had to budget carefully to bring
the plans for the house and land to life. This meant
making certain choices on the way, and we do appreciate
how resourceful the team was - even pointing us in the
right direction to purchase furniture and fittings.
We still look at the many photographs we were sent that
capture the journey of the house from the day we broke
land to the day we filled the pool. The Vinieris team
worked hard in Kefalonia making the most of the mild
winter climate with us in Harrogate watching progress
from afar with growing excitement and confidence that
our spot on Kefalonia was in the best hands.
Andy and I have had a fantastic experience and we look
forward to continuing our association with Vinieris
and keeping in touch with our new friends for many years
to come.”
