Building Your Own Home

The most important part of home ownership is selecting the right location. The plot of lands geographical position is to a great degree a personal choice. Considerations to keep in mind would be; whether you are buying a home to live in, as an investment opportunity, holiday or long-term rental, and resale. We always like to take this on board and try to show you plots of land which are ideal for the purpose you have in mind. The second aspect would be the construction costs in respect to the plot selected i.e. the distance from the services, access, the lie of the plot and type of land (eg sedimentary rock).

In order to realize your dream home you will need someone who can understand and share your vision someone who is willing to work within your budget, timetable and constraints, and someone with whom you feel comfortable.

We have a team of architects who will take your vision for your home and turn it into a blueprint for the builders to follow. Our architects will also ensure the house is structurally sound and meets with the various building regulations.

Once you are happy with your designs we provide a building contract and draw up the stage payment program. We can build your home in 6 - 9 months, and throughout the process we communicate with you on a regular basis, you will receive photographs weekly of the progress and we will assist you in selecting all fixtures and fittings for your home.

Rental Income

More and more people are now realizing that not only can they build their dream home on this wonderful island of Kefalonia, the property can actually earn them very lucrative rental returns during the Summer period, and can become a self-funding investment. Due to the exclusivity of Kefalonia as a holiday destination, luxury villa owners can command very high rental returns compared to most Mediterranean resorts. Many of our existing clients rent their homes to prospective holiday makers, and we estimate a seasonal income of between 25,000 to 35,000 Euros, depending on the size, location and amenities of a particular luxury villa.
